Introduction to Digital Photography

Final Project.  Nikon D-40, Photoshop CS3 and Wacom Intuos tablet (camera settings coming soon)
This was one of those classes I wasn't sure about and I had no idea I would like it as much as I did -and I'll tell you that learning about photography beyond a point and shoot was invaluable.  Getting a taste of another major like this made me want to become a photographer.  My instructor Corey Davis knows his stuff and he was very helpful.  Working with lighting, composition and process, I was merely getting acquainted... it was intimidating.  Although now, I have such a high regard for photography, I won't shoot with anything else if I can avoid it. I'm not Dorothea Lange... not even remotely but sampling that profession was certainly inspiring and it will definitely come in handy if I ever get in a bind, so thank you Corey.

Brookline Access Television (BATV) internship Pt. 1

Semester 2.  Business card front and back and wireframe
BATV was a great environment to be an intern and a great place to work... it has that small town feel run by great people with a lot of spirit!  One of the best things about Public Access is in its service to the community.  If you would like to produce your own show they'll teach you what you need to know.    Check out BATV and take a look at what Public Access is about.  And if you're not in Brookline, Massachusetts find out if Public Access is available in your area.

Drawing and Perspective Class (Final Project)

Semester 1. Our last project for this awesome class was to recreate something in 3-point perspective. My instructor for this class is named Kyle Lindholm a super talented professional cartoonist in the Boston area and he's a real swell guy.  We need more people like him in this crazy world!  Oh yeah, what you're seeing here is a graphite and charcoal view of the Christian Science Center in Boston from the top of the Prudential on a cloudy day after the rain.  my perspective is off due to the slight curvature of the earth and plotting with the eye rather than a ruler.  Atmospheric density is lacking because of an accidental application of charcoal instead of graphite. When attempting any drawing, I learned as well to take a step back to see how everything fits.  On 20"x30" cold press illustration board.
