For a class project, a schoolmate had an idea for a Website that would feature our artwork. He gave me the layout, I did the graphics. Sounds like I was helping him with his homework -I kinda feel the same way, but I've worked on projects with others in the past as well as crediting them for it. The rusted metal texture came from a free textures site 3dstudio-max.com

Marvel Entertainments Apocalypse done in ZBrush
3D modeling drives me absolutely bonkers and I don't enjoy it. I thought it was because I was learning new technology and that I would eventually grow into it... didn't happen. In fact the more 3D I was doing, the less interested in art I and more in math. How's that for a $150,000 lesson?

Backgrounds and Layouts: process and evolution
One thing I enjoy doing is painting in Photoshop -if I could do that for a living it would be nice. The following designs were done for a background and layout class.
this is my favorite version of all. The red stuff is a 'bloodfall'-like a waterfall... Perhaps something more in the background, yes?
a walk up the path from the first image, as the characters approach the temple entrance. The discover the red liquid is blood as they pass... where is it all coming from?!
Less Dark Crystal-esque version, though an ocean of blood is just overkill...no pun intended.
An earlier version is based on that of the Dark Crystal.
Same as before sans lava at low-tide variant
yep... high-tide variant
later version suspended high above a very active caldera in an environment where heat is heavier than matter.

Female Head Sculpt
This is a head I'm working on for my ZBrush class. I've found that I absolutely love working with Zbrush, and I think it's starting to show. This is week II of the class. Every week, we'll be doing a part of the human anatomy.
